Signal Lab OS is not a side project. It is the system its founder built to run his own touring, releases and content. Now it runs other artists too.
ABSOLUTE is a touring artist and producer with 20 years behind the decks.
Signal Lab OS started as a private tool. The existing stack of five apps was not built for the way working artists actually live: a booking lands on email, the invoice has to chase, the content for the gig has to be drafted, the set has to be prepped, the release campaign has to keep moving. Five apps cannot speak to each other and the artist becomes the integration layer.
One system that knows the gig is on Friday, the release is the next Thursday, the crew has uploaded clips and the invoice still has not paid. That is the brief.
Working DJs and producers carry the operating load of a small business: contracts, taxes, content rhythm, release strategy, set prep, crew logistics. Most of the software they pay for assumes none of that.
The result is a tax on the artist: hours spent in the wrong app, mistakes that cost gigs, releases that miss the rollout window. Signal Lab OS exists because that tax is not necessary.
