Who We Are

Signal Lab OS (signallabos.com) is a creative business platform for independent electronic music artists. It is operated by Anthony McGinley. For data enquiries, contact support@signallabos.com.

What Data We Collect

Account data: your name and email address when you create an account.

Phone number: collected during onboarding and used to send transactional SMS for approval flows (gig advances, invoice drafts, content briefs). Not used for marketing. You opt in to SMS at signup and can disable it from account settings.

Public profile data we auto-discover: when you tell us your artist name at signup, we search public music sites for your public profile details (genre, bio, profile image, upcoming gigs) to pre-fill your account. This data is public and we only store what you confirm during onboarding.

Instagram data: see the Instagram Data section below.

Content data: captions, media files, scheduled posts, and release campaign data that you create inside the platform.

Platform analytics: engagement metrics (likes, comments, reach) fetched from connected accounts to display inside your analytics dashboard.

Gig and financial data: touring, invoice, and contract information you enter into Tour Lab.

How We Use Your Data

To provide the core service: post scheduling, campaign management, gig planning, and invoicing.

To publish content to your connected social accounts when you explicitly trigger a post or schedule.

To send automated DM replies to followers who comment a trigger keyword on your posts, when you have enabled that feature for a specific post.

To retrieve and display performance metrics from your connected accounts.

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train models. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the features you use, and with Google, Meta or our booking partner when you use features that connect to them.

Age requirement: you must be 16 or older to use Signal Lab OS. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Instagram Data

Public profile. When you scan your Instagram, we read your public profile and recent public posts and their engagement. We never see private messages or private posts.

Connected account. If you connect Instagram through Meta's official login, we can publish posts you approve, read your own account and post insights, read comments on your posts, and send the DM replies you have switched on. Access keys are stored encrypted.

You can disconnect your Instagram from within Signal Lab OS at any time. This revokes access and stops the data fetch.

To request deletion of all your data, email support@signallabos.com or use the data deletion option in account settings.

Hotel and Flight Bookings

Hotels and flights are booked through our booking partner, which receives the guest's name, email, phone and booking details. You pay our booking partner directly; your card details never reach Signal Lab OS. We keep a record of each booking in your account.

Google Data (Gmail, Calendar, YouTube)

Gmail. When you connect Gmail, Signal Lab OS reads your booking emails to find contracts, gig details, promoter replies and promos, and turns them into gigs, invoices and advance answers in your account. It labels emails it has handled so they are not processed twice, and it sends advance and invoice emails from your own address only after you approve each one.

Google Calendar. If you connect it, we read your calendar entries to suggest gigs and holds. We never change your calendar.

YouTube. If you connect it, we read your channel details and upload a video to your channel only when you approve that post.

Limited Use. Signal Lab OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide the Signal Lab OS features you use. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop or train generalised machine learning models. People do not read your Google data unless you ask us to for support, it is needed for security or abuse investigations, or the law requires it.

Your Google access keys are stored encrypted. You can disconnect Gmail, Calendar or YouTube in Settings at any time, or revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete Google data we hold, email support@signallabos.com or use the data deletion option in account settings.

Cookies and Analytics

Essential cookies only. Signal Lab OS uses sign-in cookies to keep you signed in. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.

Analytics without cookies. Product analytics run in cookieless mode, stored in the EU. No tracking cookies are set, no cross-session profile is built. Page-view and feature-usage events are captured per browser session only and used to debug and improve the product.

We do not use any cross-site tracking.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated data is removed within 30 days. Access tokens for connected platforms are deleted immediately upon disconnection.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@signallabos.com.
