Start on the dashboard
Every session starts on Today. It shows the one or two things that matter right now: a post waiting for approval, a gig that needs advancing, an invoice to send. Do what it asks, then move on. If nothing is asking for you, you are done.
The sidebar holds the labs: Broadcast, Set Lab, Tour, Invoices, Grow, Audio Lab.
Broadcast Lab: post content
The loop is four steps: Drop, Scan, Voice, Approve.
- Drop your clip or photo in. Add up to 19 extras for a carousel. Big files and iPhone formats are handled for you.
- Scan runs by itself: it watches the clip, picks the best moment, and scores it.
- Voice writes captions in your voice. You get four flavours per platform. Pick one, edit if you like.
- Approve checks the post one last time. When the verdict goes green, approve it and it publishes on schedule.
Shortcuts worth knowing:
- Today inside Broadcast shows your top three unposted clips, ranked. One tap drops the best one into the chain.
- Calendar shows the week ahead. Drag drafts around.
- Ideas gives you pre-scored content briefs when you are out of ideas. One fresh batch per day.
- Quick Post is the minimal composer for when you just want to fire something off.

Set Lab: build sets
Import your library once, then search by feel instead of by track name: "dark rolling 130 with vocal" finds the right records. Build the set, watch the energy curve, export back to Rekordbox. Details in Building a set.
Tour Lab: run gigs
Add a gig by pasting the booking email or filling the form. Each gig page holds everything for that show: advance, travel, guest list, contacts. On the day, the gig pass takes over your dashboard with set time, address and contacts. Fees stay blurred until you tap them. Details in Adding a gig.
Invoice Lab: get paid
Upcoming shows that need an invoice appear here with a draft already filled in from the booking: fee split, bank details, terms. Review, approve, sent. Nothing goes out without your explicit approval, and unpaid invoices get chased with one tap. Details in Sending an invoice.
Grow Lab and Audio Lab
Grow covers audience growth and ad tooling, and unlocks on higher tiers. Audio Lab is home of the Signal Lab plugins and is in beta.
Everyday habits
- Start on Today. Three seconds of orientation, then act.
- Feed the Drop zone often. More scanned media means better Today picks and better Ideas.
- Approve from your phone. Approval links open the exact item, so you can clear the queue anywhere.
- Trust the verdict card. If it flags something, read the flag before overriding.
If something looks stuck
- A scan that failed on bad signal retries itself next time you open Broadcast.
- Ideas greyed out means the daily batch is on cooldown. It resets in 24 hours.
- Press Cmd+K anywhere to search and ask questions inside the product.
